This is how it works: Think of something nice, and you feel good. Think of something bad, and you feel bad.
However, this does not mean that you have to be at the mercy of your emotions.
Emotions are the drivers that spur us to action and reaction. And as soon as your emotional intelligence increases, inner conflicts, or the conflicts in your inner world, which is your thinking world, usually lead to conflicts in your outer world, which is your physical world, are weakened and resolved.

With a raised emotional intelligence level, communication with others will be much smoother, and life in general will be a lot better for you.
